MASSIVE Licio ZANETTI Murano Cased | Sommerso Glass Fish | Marlin Statue | Sculpture
This HUGE spectacular and highly uncommon Licio Zanetti fish/Marlin sculpture/statue, mounted on a clear footed plexiglass or lucite base, stands 16" tall and is about a foot wide. It's got to weigh nearly 10 pounds! Its numbered "Vetri Murano" label (an earlier Venetian Murano glass certification consortium) indicates that it was produced after 1981 when the label was first used, and the fact that the piece was signed by Licio Zanetti may suggest it was produced before 1989, when Licio retired and left the company to his son Oscar.
A rare and possibly important piece of late 20th Century Murano art glass, this beauty is in near perfect condition, with no notable scratches, dings, ANYTHING to be found.
